The Panthers front office is busy throughout the season with transactions and roster moves. Here are the transactions that have taken place so far this week:

Updated: 12/01 - Signed WR Michael Strachan to the active roster. Waived CB David Long Jr.

In a move that took place shortly after this article was published, the Panthers announced they have waived CB David Long Jr. the week following his seven tackle performance against the Titans.

Michael Strachan has appeared in two games with the Panthers this season and hauled in a nice 45-yard bomb in Week 10 against the Bears.

11/30 - Claimed CB Shaquill Griffin off waivers

As previously covered by CSR’s Brian Beversluis, the veteran cornerback could provide some solid depth to a depleted Panthers secondary.

11/30 - Placed WR Laviska Shenault on injured reserve

The versatile but largely overlooked playmaker suffered an ankle injury against the Titans and will now miss at least the next four weeks.

11/30 - Signed G Deonte Brown to the practice squad

Brown was a 2021 sixth round pick by the Panthers and has bounced around Carolina’s active roster and practice squad during his tenure with the team. He was released about two weeks ago and is now back in the fold.

11/30 - Released QB Jake Luton from the practice squad.

Luton has bounced around between the Panthers and Saints practice squads this year and has not appeared in a regular season game since 2020.

11/29 - Placed G Chandler Zavala on injured reserve

The hits just continue to come to the Panthers guard spot. Zavala, a fourth round pick by the Panthers in this year’s draft, had appeared in 10 games with seven starts this season. He suffered a season-ending knee injury against the Titans.

11/29 - Signed G Gabe Jackson to the practice squad

The 32-year-old veteran adds potential depth and experience to an injury-depleted guard spot, assuming he’s called up from the practice squad. Jackson has started 130 games over nine seasons with the Raiders and the Seahawks. He started all 15 games in which he played last year in Seattle but ended up as a salary cap casualty going into 2023. He has not played this season.

11/28 - Signed S Matthias Farley to the practice squad. Released DT Rashard Lawrence from the practice squad

Farley has bounced between the Panthers active roster and practice squad this year, appearing in five games with nine tackles. Lawrence was signed to the Panthers practice squad just over two weeks ago before his release.
