Week 13 opening odds

Check out what the oddsmakers think about the Panthers this week

Carolina Panthers v Tennessee Titans

Even with Baker Mayfield potentially missing next week’s revenge game between the 1-10 Carolina Panthers and the 4-7 Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Panthers are almost touchdown underdogs on the road.

This is another technically winnable game for the Panthers, given the Bucs recent struggles and current injury, but do not bet on them to win or even cover the spread. Do not bet on the Panthers to do positive things with money that you earned.

There is no word, yet, on whether or not changes will be coming for the Panthers, but they can’t exactly get worse.

Anyhow, if any of you sickos are still betting money on anything other than the Panthers losing, take a look at the opening odds from Draftkings Sportsbook below.

Week 13

Spread

Panthers: +6

Buccaneers: -6

O/U

39.5

Moneyline

Panthers: +205

Titans: -250

Remember that home-field advantage is traditionally accounted for by spotting the home team—the Bucs, in this case—three points on the spread. That means the Bucs would be favored on a neutral field by a field goal point. Given the Panthers unchallenged status as the worst team in the NFL, this is Draftkings saying that they expect a Blaine Gabbert-led Bucs catastrophe to comfortably beat the 2023 Carolina Panthers.
