Christian McCaffrey has been on the Carolina Panthers' injury report all week long. It's led some to speculate whether he will be available for the team's Week 1 game vs. the Cleveland Browns. It looks like he'll be good to go. The Panthers announced just moments ago that they are removing Christian McCaffrey from the injury report. He'll be a full go this Sunday when the Panthers battle the Browns. McCaffrey was dealing with shin pain after get hit by a cleat during practice on Thursday. "Panthers RB Christian McCaffrey is off the injury report for Week 1 and is good to go after taking a cleat to the shin in practice on Thursday," said Field Yates. Matt Rhule is making it clear this Friday afternoon that the Panthers added Christian McCaffrey to the injury report only because they had to. "Matt Rhule said he wouldn’t even have mentioned Christian McCaffrey was cut by a cleat in practice yesterday 'had it not been for following protocols.' #Panthers RB is a full go for Sunday, as expected," said Kimberley Martin. McCaffrey will join Baker Mayfield in the backfield this Sunday when the Panthers battle the Browns in the first Sunday of the 2022 season.
