Only one player has been announce so far, but there is a current COVID outbreak among the Saints coaching staff. As of right now, per Adam Schefter, there are currently 8 total cases. While the Saint’s source said, “We’ll be fine,” it’s never easy losing a significant portion of your coaching staff.
Here is the breakdown of the positive test results from the Saints organization, per source:

The real question remains as to whether this outbreak is currently under control, or if we could see more Saints coaches—and perhaps key players—getting held out for positive tests. As with any other injury, we with them all the best.
As far as Sunday’s game, when you add in Marcus Davenport’s pectoral injury, plus Marshon Lattimore’s thumb surgery and center Erik McCoy being out a few weeks, it looks like a potential loss for the Panthers next week might be a more competitive game after all.
Following the advice of Jameis Winston’s trainer, the Saints will look to be prepared.
Jameis Winston is a national treasure and should be protected at all costs.
