The Carolina Panthers are living up to Scott Fitterer’s promise to churn the bottom of the roster through training camp. After the completion of the first day they have signed try out candidate Krishawn Hogan as a wide receiver. Hogan was one of two players to be given an audition today.
The Panthers added a wide receiver, after Wednesday’s practice. GM Scott Fitterer promised multiple transactions during camp, as they try to evaluate as many players as possible. https://t.co/ExKqbov4wY

Hogan has been around the league since 2017 when he signed with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent. He then spent time on the Indianapolis Colt’s practice squad before making his first, and only, regular season appearance with the New Orleans Saints in 2019. Since then he has been with the Tennessee Titans, Cardinals, and Colts (again).
Panthers fans can expect him to try to challenge for a role on special teams.
There is no corresponding roster move while the Panthers have three players on the reserve/Covid-19 list. They still have two roster spots they can fill at this time.
