The Panthers and Chargers have listed their inactives for today’s match up in Los Angeles. Greg Little will be getting his first start since 2019 today in place of an injured Russell Okung. Kawaan Short and Dennis Daley will also continue their streak of absences.
The Chargers meanwhile, are hurting along their offensive line, with former Panthers guard Trai Turner headlining their list of inactives. The Panthers traded Turner for Okung this offseason in a rare player-for-player trade. Ironically, neither offensive lineman will be active for today’s game.
It had already been announced that rookie first rounder Justin Herbert will start at quarterback. Herbert impressed last week when he was pressed into service in place of Tyrod Taylor. Taylor famously suffered a collapsed lung after a pregame medical error and is inactive for the second straight week.
