Panthers at Chargers: Daily fantasy football stack

For the Panthers daily fantasy performance I bring this week’s Panthers stack. For both FanDuel and Draft Kings I’ve locked in quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and running back Mike Davis and then optimized the line up using Fantasy Pros DFS lineup Optimizer.

First up is Draft Kings with the Grand Pool Prize game setting:

Every week certain players are tagged as bargains based on the salary cap cost versus their projected point total. At least two or three players will show up in about every line up you try. This week it is Kareem Hunt ($6,100), tight end Zack Ertz ($5,100) and the Tampa Bay defense ($3,800). This line up looks pretty good to me. Even the play of Austin Ekeler against our own Panthers defense. I mean why not? Running backs are killing us. Especially the ones that can catch the ball out of the backfield. Might as well benefit from it in some way. If Ekeler ends up sucking then it’s still a win. Well at least that is the way I think of it.

Mike Davis is the real value. He caught eight passes last week after subbing for the injured Christian McCaffrey so add in 15 carries and he should have a nice day for his salary cap value. Yes the Chargers are a tough matchup but the Panthers offense has shown they can move the ball.

Moving on to Fan Duel we see the same three players mentioned above but instead of Ekeler we get Ezekiel Elliott, which I see as an upgrade.

The Darius Slayton play worries me against the 49ers though in some ways it makes sense with the loss of Saquan Barkley. The Giants will be playing from behind and throwing the ball a lot is the thought I guess. DFS is a crap shoot really but the match ups always matter.

An alternative stack is to match up DJ Moore with Mike Davis. When you unlock Bridgewater at quarterback Kyler Murray is entered in most line ups. Both FanDuel and Draft Kings love Murray this week.

I think I like this line up best.
