A few notable things about the schedule:

  1. The double dip of divisional games in Weeks 7-8 will be tough, especially considering the Week 8 game against the Falcons is a Thursday night game. Playing the Saints and Falcons back-to-back is never easy, and playing both in a four-day span will be one of the toughest weeks the Panthers endure this season.
  2. The Panthers play both the season opener (Raiders) and season finale (Saints) at home for the second straight year. Hopefully they have better results than they did in 2019, though.
  3. The Week 13 bye is beneficial if the Panthers surprise everyone and are in playoff contention at that point in the season.
  4. Arguably, the toughest game the Panthers face this year is the trip to Lambeau Field in December. The weather never cooperates there during the month of December, so that should be entertaining.
  5. The Panthers play back-to-back road games twice — once early in the season and once late in the season.
  6. The Panthers only travel to the west coast once this year — in Week 3 when they face the Chargers.
