Panthers at Packers injury report: Christian McCaffrey did not practice, is doubtful for Saturday’s game

The Panthers’ star running back is expected to miss his eleventh game this season.

The Panthers are back at practice in preparation for their Week 15 game against the Packers on Saturday night. Christian McCaffrey (quad) and Russell Okung (calf) were the only two players who didn’t practice today. Tre Boston, Dennis Daley, Austin Larkin, DJ Moore and Curtis Samuel were all limited, and Derrick Brown, Yetur Gross-Matos, Marquis Haynes and Efe Obada all practiced in full.

McCaffrey and Daley are officially doubtful for Saturday’s game, and neither player is expected to play. Okung is officially listed as questionable but isn’t expected to play either. Boston, Larkin, Obada and Samuel are also questionable, but their chances of playing are much higher than Okung’s. Matt Rhule told the media yesterday that if Okung is unable to play, Trent Scott will start at left tackle in his place.

The good news from today is that DJ Moore isn’t listed on the injury report, so that means he’s likely to suit up on Saturday night after missing last week’s game.

As always, stay tuned for any updates to the injury report as we’ll provide any new information that becomes available.
