The Panthers have placed cornerback Rasul Douglas on the reserve/COVID list and ruled him out for Sunday’s game against the Saints. Douglas was not at practice yesterday, and now we have an explanation why.
In positive news, kicker Joey Slye and offensive tackle Trent Scott were removed from the reserve/COVID list and are both eligible to play Sunday in New Orleans.
Panthers starting CB Rasul Douglas placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. He will be unavailable for Sunday's game after not being at yesterday's practice.

K Joey Slye and OL Trent Scott are both off of the reserve/COVID-19 list and will be at today's practice and available Sunday
The full injury report for this week’s game will come out later, but for now we know at least one player who will be ruled out. The Panthers-Saints game is currently scheduled to take place, but as previous weeks have shown us across the league that is subject to change at any time before the team leaves for New Orleans (which is assumed to be tomorrow).
According to Joe Person at The Athletic, it’s unclear if the Panthers will still give the three free agent kickers they brought in when Slye was placed on the reserve/COVID list a workout.
Unclear if Panthers will still work out the three free agent kickers, who have been in town all week testing.

I would let them kick. And then I would sign one of them to the practice squad..
I agree with Joe’s take that the Panthers should not only go through with the workout, but they should also sign one of them (probably the one who does the best) to the practice squad as a ‘break glass in case of emergency’ option. That just seems like smart business to me.
As always, stay tuned to this developing situation.
