The Panthers have listed several players as questionable heading into their Week 6 matchup with the Bears: cornerbacks Eli Apple (hamstring) and Donte Jackson (toe), defensive tackle Zach Kerr (toe) and wide receiver Curtis Samuel (knee).
Panthers' injury report for Sunday's game vs. Bears:
— Joe Person (@josephperson) October 16, 2020
Questionable: CB Eli Apple (hamstring), DT Zach Kerr (toe), WR Curtis Samuel (knee), CB Donte Jackson (toe).
DE Brian Burns (concussion) will play, per Matt Rhule.
The good news is that edge rusher Brian Burns is expected to suit up and play this week according to head coach Matt Rhule. Burns took a nasty hit in last week’s win over the Falcons and has been limited in practice all week long, but hopefully he’s good to go this weekend now that Yetur Gross-Matos is on injured reserve.
The Panthers did not activate running back Christian McCaffrey this week, but they are expected to bring wide receiver Keith Kirkwood back to the active roster to take one of the two spots available to them.
Matt Rhule had said Panthers planned to activate WR Keith Kirkwood this week. If they stick with that, that's one of the two roster spots created by Yetur Gross-Matos to IR and Tyler Larsen to COVID list.
