The Carolina Panthers have been dealt a dose of the injury bug on the first day of Organized Team Activities (aka OTAs) as wide receiver Mose Frazier suffered a broken arm in today’s first practice of the offseason, according to a report from Ian Rapoport.
#Panthers WR Mose Frazier, a young pass-catcher they were excited about, broke his arm in OTAs today and is having surgery performed by team doctor Pat Connor, source said. Frazier led them in TDs in the preseason and was active the last 4 games in 2018.

There is no news on the severity of the injury or any sort of timetable on an expected return to action. If there is a bright side to this story, it’s that today is only the first day of OTAs and there is a chance that this won’t keep Frazier from seeing the field at some point later in the season. Depending on how bad the injury is, there’s even a chance that he could be back in action when training camp rolls around this summer.
Fraizer appeared in four games for the Panthers last season and was one of the younger guys who had a good shot at sticking on the 53-man roster with a solid offseason. Hopefully this injury doesn’t keep him down for too long and he’s able to get back on the field with a chance to earn his way onto the team.
