Carolina vs Washington: Wednesday injury report

New, comments

The Panthers had a few key players who didn’t practice today as they prepare for their Week 13 game against Washington.

The Carolina Panthers are preparing for Sunday’s game against Washington and had a few key players sit out of today’s practice session.

Offensive tackle Greg Little, defensive tackle Gerald McCoy and running backs Christian McCaffrey and Jordan Scarlett all sat out today. Offensive tackle Taylor Moton, safety Eric Reid, linebacker Shaq Thompson and right guard Trai Turner were all limited.

Left tackle Dennis Daley practiced today, which is encouraging. Hopefully he’ll be able to suit up on Sunday and protect Kyle Allen. I feel like that will be an important factor in whether or not the Panthers win this week.

It’s only Wednesday, so there’s no reason to worry yet, but it’s worth keeping an eye on some of these guys throughout the week, such as McCoy and Little. We’ll continue to monitor their status and update you if anything changes.

Here’s today’s full injury report.
