The Panthers will be without the services of veteran tight end Greg Olsen after he suffered a foot injury in the first half against the Cowboys.
It is a foot injury for Greg Olsen. He’s been ruled out for the rest of the game.

Before the injury, Olsen had two catches for 33 yards. The Panthers have confirmed that it is the same foot he injured last season that kept him out of action for 10 games. The injury happened when he stepped on the foot of a Cowboys defender, Erin Andrews reported from the sideline.
The Panthers will rely on rookie tight end Ian Thomas to fill Olsen’s void in the offense. Chris Manhertz is also available, as well as Alex Armah in an emergency situation.
We’ll provide more information on Olsen’s condition whenever it becomes available. For now, let’s just hope that it’s only a one-game injury. We can’t afford for Olsen to miss significant time this year because he’s such an important part of the Panthers’ offense.
