In the two images below I have your 2018 CSR league settings for all of our league managers. Here’s an update on the leagues that have confirmed they are up and running for 2018:
CSR 1, CSR 5, CSR 6, CSR 12, CSR 13, CSR IDP 1, CSR IDP 2 and of course the new CSR #59.
By the way I declared a rule in CSR 59 that all teams must reference Luke somehow. Let’s see how many comply.
If there are any other leagues now up and running please drop me a comment to that effect. If anyone wants to create a new league using CSR and some other number feel free to do that and link it up in the thread.
So we have a number of setting changes or new settings to set in our leagues. There is one though that has a chance of making the waiver process a little more exciting. I hope so anyway. It’s called FAAB. Here’s the explanation.
In a Free Agents Acquisition Budgets (FAAB) waivers system, each manager receives a dollar amount to place blind bids on waived players. The manager with the highest bid at the end of the waiver period claims that player and that bid amount is deducted from the team’s acquisition budget. If multiple managers place an equal bid on a player, tiebreak options are available as described above.
FAAB w/ Continual rolling list tiebreak
FAAB w/ Reverse order of standings tiebreak
FAAB w/ Weekly rolling standings tiebrea
So let’s give it a try and see how it goes. Here’s the first part of the settings.
There are no other changes here. This next one does has a couple minor changes:
- Locking the roster of eliminated teams during the playoffs
- Making the league viewable publicaly
- Participating in a league pick em - this is another addition that might make the game more interesting
Let me know what you think CSR League players and managers. Please drop a note if your league has renewed and is not listed above.
Cheers!
