Panthers preseason report: Final week

Lots and lots of Hog Molly talk, as well as plenty of wide receiver excitement in the week’s edition.

NFL: New England Patriots at Carolina Panthers Jim Dedmon-USA TODAY Sports

Last night I went live on CSR’s Facebook page to talk about all the storylines resulting from the Carolina Panthers third preseason game against the New England Patriots, and what sorts of things we should be looking for going into the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers (aka the Tepper Rooney Happy Hour). We covered a very wide range of topics in a session lasting about 45 minutes, and if you missed it on the front end, here is the replay for your consumption:

Quick summary of what was covered:

  • Last week’s game against the New England Patriots
  • Preview for this week’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers
  • A ton of offensive line discussion and praise
  • What we can expect of the piecemeal offensive line working forward, and what they each need to prove
  • The corner battle seems pretty well set, should be James Bradberry and Donte Jackson starting, Captain Munnerlyn will likely get the nickel duties in the beginning.
