The Carolina Panthers have announced the acquisition of offensive tackle Zach Banner, according to the team’s Twitter account:
#Panthers have claimed offensive tackle Zach Banner, a fourth-round pick of the Colts in 2017.

Banner was released by the Colts in September and was picked up off waivers by the Browns. He appeared in eight games for Cleveland last season, and the Browns decided to part ways with him yesterday. Today, the Panthers jumped on the opportunity to claim him.
Banner is massive, y’all. He’s 6’9” and weighs 360 lbs. He might not be anything more than a practice squad player, but at this point it’s worth bringing him on board to see what he’s got. The Panthers could get lucky and find a diamond in the rough, you know?
