Keep Sounding: The Panthers finally put the kibosh on Cam’s season

The Panthers finally did the sensible thing and shut Cam Newton down for the season. We talk about the implications that entails, what we expect from Taylor Heinicke, and what we expect to see from Cam in the future. We talk about our frustrations with the delay in announcing his shut down amid numerous reports of other players heading to injured reserve.

But before we get to that, we talk about that good ol’ fashioned smash mouth football game we saw against the Saints on Monday (not Sunday) night. We talk about what surprised and who impressed us most in the losing effort.

We pivot into talking about the Falcons and their upcoming visit to Bank of America Stadium.
