There were only three players who didn’t practice today, and one of them is Julius Peppers who was given another day off. Matt Kalil has an illness that held him out of practice today after being limited yesterday.

Hopefully whatever the illness is clears up soon because the Panthers will be ... what’s a good word here ... screwed ... without a left tackle to help keep Cam Jordan from wrecking Cam Newton.
Trai Turner is still in the concussion protocol and there are no updates to his condition according to Ron Rivera.

Devin Funchess has been limited for the last two days, but according to him they’re just being careful with him ahead of a huge game on Sunday.

Hopefully Funchess is ready to go on Sunday, because having receivers for Newton to throw to would be a good thing.
