There are only 25 days left until football starts, so let’s talk about #25 for the Panthers, S Damian Parms.

Career
Damian Parms was signed as a free agent by the Panthers a few days after training camp started to take reps at safety. He’s never appeared in an NFL game.
Here’s a summary of his brief career, courtesy of Panthers.com:
2016: Signed to the Buffalo Bills practice squad after being waived by Atlanta. Was injured and placed on practice squad/injured at end of September through rest of season.
2015: Signed as an undrafted free agent by Atlanta after the draft, but was waived during the preseason.
College: Totaled 182 tackles in three seasons at FAU. Finished career with one interception, eight pass deflections and three forced fumbles. Also made 12 tackles for loss and one sack in three seasons.
Parms saw some brief action in the Panthers’ preseason opener against the Houston Texans, and has a small chance to make the roster now that Travell Dixon and Dean Marlowe have been waived with injuries. He’ll have to beat out L.J. McCray and Dezmen Southward, who have both looked good so far in training camp, so it certainly won’t be easy for him. I’m not sure he really has a chance to stick on the roster, but he could find himself on the practice squad if he plays well enough this preseason.
What do you think, Panthers fans? Does he have a shot to make the roster?
