Panthers vs Vikings Friday injury report: Greg Olsen questionable, Shaq Thompson out for Sunday’s matchup

New, comments

The Panthers will get Greg Olsen (and Ryan Kalil) back on Sunday, but will have to do without the services of Shaq Thompson against the Vikings.

Update (12/9): The Vikings have ruled out OT Mike Remmers for Sunday’s game, eliminating the possibility of a homecoming revenge for Remmers.

The Panthers were back on the field today in preparation for their game this Sunday against the Vikings, and Shaq Thompson was the only player who didn’t participate. Unfortunately, this also means he will be unable to play on Sunday and has been officially ruled out for the Panthers.

Everything else in today’s practice went pretty much as expected.

Greg Olsen practiced again today, which is good. He appears to be ready to play on Sunday. He’s listed as questionable on the injury report but that’s because there’s no such thing as probable anymore. Expect to see him on Sunday.

Ryan Kalil is also expected to play, which is good news.

Ron Rivera agrees:
