The Panthers were back on the practice field in preparation for their matchup against the Falcons this Sunday, and they got some good news in the form of right guard Trai Turner being able to participate in practice. He was limited, but it’s better than being on the DNP list again.
He’s still in the concussion protocol, but the fact that he’s participating in practice is a good sign that he’ll be ready to suit up on Sunday in Atlanta.
Several veterans had the day off today, as per usual on Wednesday.
A few players to monitor through the week are left guard Andrew Norwell, center Ryan Kalil, defensive end Mario Addison and wide receiver Russell Shepard. All four players were limited in practice today, but there’s no need to worry just yet because it’s only Wednesday. We’ll keep an eye on them throughout the week, though ... just in case.
