We’ll start this week like every week. Let’s look at how last week’s lineup did in daily fantasy points.

The big winners last week were Cam Newton and DeShaun Watson. Both QBs put up rushing and passing TDs leading the league by a far margin. Both have put in two solid weeks worth of performances. Carolina played Thursday against a harsh defense. Houston plays the Browns Sunday afternoon. The top lineup this last week included surprises such as Melvin Gordon, TY Hilton, and the Dolphins defense. Goes to show, you just never know in DFS. But we’re gonna try!
Quarterback
Deshaun Watson
Watson had an extremely impressive game last week against the Chiefs who are no slouch on defense. Putting 42 points against Kansas City turns heads. Watson has shown himself to be a dangerous quarterback and he’s my starter this week against a struggling Browns team.
Running Back
Kareem Hunt
Hunt has put up more yards this season than any rookie has a right to. The Steelers have given up huge ground games to Jordan Howard and Leonard Fournette, no reason to expect Hunt won’t continue the trend and gash Pittsburgh for a big game.
Running Back
Jerick McKinnon
The quarterback situation in Minnesota isn’t clear but the running back picture was obvious, with McKinnon getting touch after touch even against a stingy Bears defense. The stat line might not instill confidence but I think McKinnon’s effectiveness was limited by Chicago more than anything else.
Wide Receiver
T.Y. Hilton
Hilton has had a streak of solid games in Indy. The Titans aren’t the team I’d expect to put an end to that while the Colts continue searching for legitimacy. Underrated with a good track history, I’ll roll with T.Y. Hilton this week.
Wide Receiver
DeAndre Hopkins
DeShaun Watson is becoming one of my favorite quarterbacks and his favorite target is a bad man who becomes truly dangerous with a competent passer. The pair are teaming up to make opposing teams look silly on a regular basis. Let’s see if the Browns give us another great week for Double-De.
Wide Receiver
Marvin Jones Jr.
The Lions face off against Sean Payton and the Saints. Coming off a hard fought loss to Carolina, Detroit isn’t going to let another NFCS team take them to task. Jones is the top deep threat for Detroit right now and the Saints aren’t giving anyone not named the Panthers a hard time in the passing game.
Tight End
Evan Engram
Seriously, who else is Manning going to throw it to?
FLEX
Ameer Abdullah
Abdullah has been a solid running back so far this year and they face a questionable defensive front. Detroit will find a way to get at least one TD to the top back in Detroit.
Defense/Special Teams
Bears
Ok, I’m doing this to save salary for other positions but it could still work out. The Bears face the Ravens who aren’t exactly special on paper. After the manhandling they gave Minnesota I’ll take the risk and see if Trubisky can keep the Ravens off the field and let the D stay fresh.
