Carolina Panthers injury report: Friday update

Jon Beason pulls closer to game-readiness, but the offense is still hurting.

USA TODAY Sports

The Carolina Panthers have released their final injury report for week one. The offense is suffering from most of the injuries, which is exactly what the team doesn't need.

Kenjon Barner is listed as 'out', meaning the Panthers are leaning on DeAngelo Williams, Mike Tolbert and Armond Smith at running back -- that's not a grouping that inspires a lot of confidence. There are also questions about how these players can run behind a porous offensive line. Amini Silatolu is questionable, which hurts the entire offensive line by osmosis.
