2013 Carolina Panthers Free Agency: Panthers sign Quintin Mikell to one-year deal

... and opposing NFCS offensive coordinators have a "Hear that Elizabeth, I'm coming to join you" moment.

Wow.  Great pickup by Getts.  Terms are not yet disclosed, but we'll let you know as soon as more is available.

Panthers agreed to terms with SS Quintin Mikell on a one-year contract.

Mikell has been on the street ever since the Rams released him way back in March. We still wouldn't be surprised if he eventually pushes Mike Mitchell for the starting strong safety job. Mikell knows defensive coordinator Sean McDermott's system from their time together in Philadelphia and was a top-five safety in ProFootballFocus' grades last season. Sep 2 - 10:54 AM
