The 12 Panthers Days of Christmas 2013

Merry Christmas morning all you believers out there! Had a neat idea to try to brighten your day. It's not a totally original idea, but I hope it achieves it's purpose. We all know how the song goes, gentlemen, so don't think that I was gonna type all that out for a second, and this isn't meant to be submitted as part of my dissertation either. In the words of Foghorn Leghorn, "It's a joke, son, laugh!" So, with no further ado:

On the first day of Christmas Big Cat gave to me: A Carolina Super Bowl team.

On the second day of Christmas Big Cat gave to me: Two linebackers a' tackling on a...

On the third day of Christmas Big Cat gave to me: Three Receivers a' Catching and...

On the fourth day of Christmas Big Cat gave to me: Four Running Backs a' Scampering and... (Gotta count Cam when he runs like Herschel Walker. Am I wrong?)

On the fifth day of Christmas Big Cat gave to me: A FRAN-CHISE QB...

On the sixth day of Christmas Big Cat gave to me: Six Monsterz a' Sacking and..

On the seventh day Christmas Big Cat gave to me: A Front Seven a' Dominating and....

On the eighth day of Christmas Big Cat gave to me: An Eight Game Win Streak and...

On the ninth day of Christmas Big Cat gave to me: Nine Coaches a' Gambling and... (Dude has nine lives.)

On the tenth day of Christmas Big Cat gave to me: Ten Golden Toes a' Kicking and... (Dude has ten toes, I assume. Foot could be some type of titanium-alloy prosthetic for all we really know. Would explain the touchbacks.)

On the eleventh day of Christmas Big Cat gave to me: Eleven men a' Playing D and...

On the twelfth day of Christmas Big Cat gave to me: Twelve Regular Season Victories.

Happy Holidays, y'all. Oh yeah, and just remember that this is the season for magic, so KEEEEEEP POUNDING into the Playoffs! I already got my presents. Big Cat knows me well :)

Also, feel free to offer your own improvements in the comments below, or you could share which was your favorite gift this year. Of course, the Super Bowl prediction thing is all in good fun and doesn't count... yet.

One that counted about a million, billion, gazillion (basically how much we're about to pay Greg Hardy, haha) to me already was when I got a Panthers mug that my wonderful daughter Marybeth passed up toys for so she'd have something for me, "because I know how much you love the Panthers and Cam Newton, Daddy." That's sweet.
