Career
Chas Alecxih is a former Pittsburgh defensive tackle who has spent his career bouncing around the NFL. He started out as a UDFA on the Dolphins practice squad in 2012, before he was waived due to injury in 2013. In 2014, he found another home in San Diego after being waived by the Chiefs during camp periods. He spent all of that season on their practice squad, before Carolina signed him as a tryout player in 2015. Alexcih once again spent an entire season on the practice squad.
Fun fact about Alecxih, he's actually a native to the area I live in. I'm from Lancaster Pennsylvania, and Millersville is a hop and a skip away from here. So I have a little place in my heart for the guy, who walks into one of the strongest defensive tackle groups in the entire league. Alecxih will have a leg up on some of the newer faces, though Kawann Short, Star Lotulelei, Vernon Butler, and Paul Soliai will all take precedence. Alecxih will also battle Kyle Love, who played in every game last season. It's always a long shot, but stranger things have happened. Plus the practice squad is still a paying gig, right?
