1. The Panthers' first round pick will be someone nobody saw coming.
Given the Josh Norman situation, I will go with Artie Burns, Cornerback, Miami. Read up on him here.
2. I think the Panthers draft at least one defensive lineman in the first two rounds.
My prediction is Penn State's Austin Johnson, in the second round.
3. I predict that Notre Dame LB Jaylon Smith is not drafted until the third day.
Once thought of as a sure-fire top-five pick, Smith suffered a major knee injury. Read more here.
4. I predict Su'a Craven is drafted in the first round
However, I am just not sure if it is as a LB or safety.
5. I predict Ohio State will have more top-10, more top-50, and more top-100 picks than the rest of the Big-10 combined.
What is shocking is that this is the prediction most likely to come true.
6. I predict Jason Spriggs will be fourth offensive lineman drafted.
7. I predict that Mackensie Alexander, Kendall Fuller, Karl Joseph, Vonn Bell, Jonathan Bullard, Hunter Henry, Sterling Sheppard, and Derrick Henry are all available at the start of round two.
8. I predict there will be two more teams will trade into the top-ten.
Guessing two of Cleveland, Baltimore, or Jacksonville trade DOWN, and two of Miami, NYJ, and Atlanta trade UP.
9. I predict four quarterbacks are drafted in the first round (which will help the Panthers).
Wentz, Goff, Lynch, and either Conner Cook or Christian Hackenberg. I think a team trade up and in front of Denver to select a quarterback.
10. My long-term prediction, is that both the Rams and Eagles will regret giving up so many resources for a pair of average to below average quarterbacks.
The Rams and Eagles have combined to give-up four first round picks, three second round picks, and three thirds (some additional later round picks were exchanged by all four teams) for the right to draft Carson Wentz and Jared Goff.
