Nobody on the offense stepped up that I could tell. Philly Brown maybe before he got hurt. Other than that I don't know. A couple other players on defense had decent games.
Luke Kuechly had 10 combined tackles, a sack and a pass defense. But I also remember a key missed tackle. Thomas Davis had 7 tackles in spite of playing with a broken arm. Charles Johnson had 5 tackels and a sack, not a bad day.
Yet when you compare those to Ealy's stat line:
Four combined tackles, 3 sacks (tied the SB record), and INT (it was a beauty too), a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. If you get 2 or maybe 3 impact plays from the DL during a game you are happy. Ealy had at least 5.
