The Panthers are 1-0 along with half of the NFL, but that doesn't mean they're going to get much respect -- yet. SBNation.com has released its Power Rankings entering Week 2, and Carolina is stuck at No. 20.
Many fans will see it as a slight, but there are certain realities to unconvincingly beating one of the worst teams in the NFL -- one of those is not getting high marks from the media. Similarly the Tennessee Titans are sitting in 27th, despite blowing out the Buccaneers.
The biggest riser this week was the Buffalo Bills, who moved from No. 19 to No. 6 following a win over the Indianapolis Colts. It's a good faith prediction that this week wasn't a fluke as Rex Ryan's new team completely dominated the 2014 AFC South champions on both sides of the ball.
Seattle got too cute towards the end of its game with the Rams and it cost them not only a win, but seven spots in the rankings.
What do you think about the Panthers being ranked 20th? Too harsh given their win, or just right considering the competition faced so far?
