5 Under The Radar Free Agents

Carolina has over 16 million in cap space, which, after previous years, feels like 100 million. However, we don't want to overspend this season otherwise we'll get put right back in salary cap hell. So here are 5 low flying free agents that Carolina could bring in.

Anthony Spencer, DE: Spencer struggled to make am impact coming off a knee injury, but he turned it on late in the season. More of a pass rusher than anything else, Spencer could add some teeth to our front 4, despite being on the wrong side of 30.

Hakeem Nicks, WR: You know the narrative. Former star, oft injured, and in the one season he did play 16 games (this past one) he barely topped 400 yards. But hey, Ginn was a washup too. I say bring in Nicks.

Kenny Britt, WR: Britt had something of a return in 2014. He had 48 receptions for 748 yards. With two 1'000 yard receivers, that production would be just what we need at the number 2 spot.

Davon House, CB: House is really flying under the radar. He's 25 years old, 6'1 and has been very solid in coverage for Green Bay. I will take. #NickelDefense

Henry Melton, DL: Melton returned from an ACL tear and was a valuable asset to the Dallas Cowboys on the defensive line. He excels at rushing th passer, and we all know how Gettleman feels about pass rushers. Good locker room guy. Low risk high reward signing.
