1st Half
The Panthers won the toss and deferred as they usually do and it was the right call this week. On the 2nd play from scrimmage the Bucs fumbled the snap. The Panther offense took the gift a short ways but settled for a FG. Panthers 3-0.
On the next series Josh Norman delivered what was an easy prediction for me, an INT, but even I wasn't so bold as to predict a pick 6. J-No has a way of baiting QBs into that throw and he delivered it. It really gave the Panthers a lift in momentum. Panthers 10-0 and it was looking good.
The second quarter was not so kind to the Panthers. The Bucs running game plus some stupid penalties kept the Bucs in this game early. I'm mainly referring to a late TD drive by the Bucs that closed the gap to 17-10 at the half. It was a Ted Ginn TD before that where he just dragged his toe that gave the Panthers 17 points.
Panthers 17-10 at the Half
The Panther opened the 2nd half in terrible fashion. Cam Newton fumbled the hand off on the first play from scrimmage giving the Bucs a short field. The defense held and thankfully the Bucs FG kicker is terrible. He missed it wide left.
On the very next play the Panthers scored a freak TD. J-Stew ran for 10 yards up the middle but was hit hard and fumbled the ball. It popped straight into the hands of the charging Ed Dickson who took it the remaining 57 yards for a TD. Yeah that happened.
Panthers 24-10
The Bucs then run the ball a lot and eventually score making it 24-17. The Panthers D then got the ball back thanks to a Thomas Davis INT and the Panthers took it to the house. It was Ted Ginn again, who had only two catches but both were for scores.
Panthers 31-10
The Panthers then let the Bucs drive down and score a TD again. The Panthers then drove and scored a FG after another Josh Norman INT.
Oh let's get this over with, I've had too much to drink...Panther rock! Bucs suck...
