The Over/Under Game is back on CSR for one more round before training camp starts!
First, let's recap the Over/Under posts from the 2014 off-season:
------------------------------------
This time, we're taking a look at a different record that doesn't get discussed much around these parts... the Panthers' single-season completion % record.
The team record for a QB who took the majority of snaps in a season belongs to Steve Beurlein, who completed 63.0% of his attempts in 1998.
Guess who's 2nd? Yes.... Cam Newton and his 61.7% completion rate from 2013.... Surprised?
For all the talk about Cam's accuracy.... he's not that far from this single-season franchise record.
Given the personnel changes at WR and TE and Cam's continued maturation as a QB.... there's a possibility that he breaks this record in 2014.
So, CSR.... Cam breaks the record if his completion % is 63.1%.... Are you taking the Over?.... or the Under?
--------------------------------------------------------
It's been a nice run this off-season doing these posts. If you'd like, we can re-visit these at the end of the regular season..... and maybe we can do it again next off-season.
Special thanks to Jaxon for helping me with the posts!
And as always...... feel free to post your thoughts in the Comments section....
