So NFL Network shows that Cam Newton was voted the 24th best player in the league this year, and Andrew Luck was 30th. In the video, in addition to showing Cam highlights, they show a great block, and they mention he has more combined yards, 13,000+, than any other player in his first three years. Lets not forget he's got 91 total TDs. He's good for more than 4,300 yds and 30 TDs every year. Yet for some reason, punk ass NFL Network had to post an article written by some clown about how they think Andrew Luck is better. And the reason is always the same, he has the highest ceiling of any young passer. How did Russel Wilson's ceiling effect him winning the Superbowl? Ask the Packers about Kaep's ceiling. And then there's Luck throwing 7 interceptions in two playoff games last year. He has never had a season with a completion percentage or QB rating higher than Cam. As far as his ceiling, well JaMarcus Russell had a higher ceiling than all these guys. That was completely irrelevant to his failures as a QB. Luck is not as good as Cam, and the media refuses to admit it even though the fans have already made their point. It's not like Luck was 30 and Cam was 29. Cam was six spots ahead, and continues to break all-time records every year. And we finally drafted a real receiver for him.
Sorry guys, I'm just venting. It's just the opposite of journalism when everytime a Panther gets recognized for anything, the professional media has to bring him down. Mike Singletary named the five best LBs, and Luke wasn't one of them. He one DPOY, and the media kept saying he didn't deserve it. The hate on the Panthers continues, but just like Andrew Luck's ceiling to infinity and beyond, it is completely irrelevant to what happens on the field. It always reminds me of how people can say we get Ds for the offseason because in FA and the draft we didn't address our biggest needs at safety, CB, WR and OL. Bunch of ass clowns. I would love to actually debate these idiots using things called facts instead of made up shit like someone's ceiling.
Alright I'm done. I'm out.
