This one was never really close as TV took 62% of the vote to win comfortably over Sugar. Goodbye ice cream and cake, hello history channel and animal planet.
The desire to have a phone within arm's length at all times has never been higher. You can certainly thank all of the engineers behind the technology which has produced an ever increasing versatility to the world of wireless communication.
I wonder how many stories can be recounted over the last decade of someone being saved due to the basic possession of a cell phone. I can only imagine that it is a countless figure, which could also be said of the death toll which continues to rise thanks to the ascendance of texting(among other things) while driving. There is little doubt that the cell phone is both a blessing and a curse.
What about sports? Just like the phone, they can contribute to a broad range of emotions. Each can leave us smiling, laughing, frustrated, satisfied, devastated and overjoyed. But there is an experience with sports that can't be duplicated by using a phone. Nothing can quite equal the feeling you get whenever listening to, viewing or participating in a sporting event. It is in these moments that we can vicariously live through the athletes we aspire(d) to become.
If you are required to use a phone to earn a living, then that usage doesn't apply in this tourney. Only time spent on the phone outside of work. For the sake of making things a bit more interesting, you must imagine that you will be doing without your favorite non-football sport for 3 months(whatever time of year that is) if you choose Phone.
With that being said, it is now time to decide which is more important to you. Phone or Non-Football Sports?
