In our closest match yet, #4 seed Video Games took down #5 seed CSR by winning 56% of the vote. Bummer. I thought CSR meant the world to you guys/gals. Guess I was wrong. Moving on....
By nature, humans are predisposed to be addicted to at least one thing and, as it turns out, today's match features two of our greatest obsessions.
If you are a fan of television, think about the many things you would have to do without for the last quarter of 2014. No Carolina Panthers' football on your high definition 60-inch plasma. If you're a baseball fan, then forget about watching the World Series. What about those beloved series like NCIS, The Big Bang Theory and Game of Thrones? They'll have to be put on hold. Even the blue hair crowd will have to do without their beloved Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and nightly news. I heard there are some swell times to be had at the local bingo hall. I think I just offended myself because I'm beginning to gray around the edges.
How about those sugary treats? Maybe this would be a good time to rid your house of all those sweet temptations. Out of sight, out of mind, right? No more candy bars, cakes, pies, sweet tea, sugared coffee, ice cream, cupcakes, candy canes, lolly pops, cookies, honey, maple syrup, corn syrup, cheesecake, jello, pudding, fudge, twinkies, brownies, tarts, crepes, cobblers, parfaits, shortcakes, candy and anything else that lists sugar as an ingredient. By the way, artificial sweeteners are also prohibited. Keep in mind that the natural sugar content found in fresh, frozen or dried fruits is completely allowed.
You know the game. Between TV and Sugar, which would you rather not abstain from during the last quarter of this year.
