What I Can't Do Without Tournament: Video Games vs CSR

Dan R. Krauss

Today we have another match between what I believe are two evenly matched opponents.

Update

In our closest match yet, Alcohol overtook Caffeine by taking 56% of the vote.

Intro

This match is intriguing because it features two opponents that are near and dear to the hearts of many of you. Personally, I have fond memories of playing Donkey Kong as a child. It was an escape from reality for a kid who, at times, needed to get as far away as he could from the frustration of abandonment. Interestingly enough, my early affinity for Atari failed to carry over into adulthood. I feel no shame in admitting that I am out of touch when it comes to the gaming world. Sure, I'm familiar with the names of some of the most popular present day games(thanks, in part, to CSR open threads), but I couldn't express a single meaningful detail about them.

CatScratchReader, on the other hand, is a different story. In case you haven't noticed, this blog is a passion of mine and I only hope that it shines through in my articles. I choose to spend some of what little free time I have on CSR because I genuinely admire the gifted work that my colleagues produce and I also thoroughly enjoy poring over the comment threads. CSR is a community where everyone can share in the joy and pain of being a Carolina Panthers' fan. It is also a place where we can articulate our feelings and opinions in a way that encourages healthy debate and discussion. We all have a unique perspectives and it only enhances the overall CSR experience.

Criteria

It's simple. Which of these two opponents would you rather not do without for 3 months during the football season? You know where I stand. Now it's your turn to let your voice be known. Video Games or CSR?
