Jordan Gross will never be a small man, I know that's a shocker. When you're well over 6' and accustomed to playing in the NFL it necessitates bulking up as much as possible -- now he's out of the league it's time to drop some of those additional pounds.
Gross told WCNC in Charlotte that he's lost 50 lbs since retiring in late February. The former offensive tackle said he made the switch for health reasons, trying to correct some of the damage done to his body while playing in the NFL.
In case you needed a reminder here's a before and after pic. The results are pretty stunning.
Good for Gross. Obviously I've never played in the NFL, but since February I've lost almost 50 lbs myself -- I know how hard the road is. Keep it up! The hog mollie hauler is going to be a lot lighter this summer, even if Gross hitches a ride.
