My 2nd Round SBN Bloggers Mock Draft pick is In

USA TODAY Sports

Be sure to head over to Mocking the Draft to weigh in on my 2nd round selection for the Panthers. So of you will like it and some will hate it, I expect that. Feel free to comment over there. For this post I'd like to talk about who you think I should have drafted instead based on how the mock played out.

You may recall I took WR Marqise Lee at #28 in the 1st round. This time I took an OT that I thought has a good chance of developing into a LT. The top players at different positions on the board, at least for me

OT: Billy Turner, Jack Mewhort, Cameron Fleming, Antonio Richardson

DE: Scott Crichton, Marcus Smith

CB: Marcus Roberson

S: Dion Bailey

WR: Paul Richardson

You might recall my previous Friday Night Open thread post was actually a preview of my decision process and included a fan poll to help me make my choice. You can review the results here. It included all of the names above except Tiny Richardson, who was mentioned by Dan Kadar as a better selection than the choice I made. My thought at the time was that Richardson is not LT material and would certainly be better suited at RT, but maybe I'm incorrect with that. I'm not saying Kadar is wrong for saying Richardson is a better prospect than my selection, I'm sure he knows more than I obviously. I just preferred the more athletic guy over the bigger guy. But I digress...

So who would you have preferred Panther fans versus the guy I selected. You don't have to limit yourself to those I listed above. I'm sure there are some fine prospects I overlooked. So let me know what you think.
