It really was an easy pick after the Saints instead took Kelvin Benjamin right before me at #27. Saints fans gave that pick a C+ grade. I'm not sure I would taken Benjamin in that case. I might have instead went with CB Jason Verrett.
The highest grade went to the Jaguars selection of Clowney at #3 which is hard to argue with. The Rams selection of Johnny Manziel at #2 was graded the worst pick and I might have to agree. He's such a different player than Bradford. How do you set up a game plan that allows both of these guys to compete? It would seem the blogger was assuming Bradford is gone and the focus is now on Manziel. Tough call.
Dan Kadar got in a good zinger on the Browns that I have to share:
Grading the SB Nation bloggers NFL mock draft - SBNation.com
The votes, of course, were tabulated by reader voting. No pick was voted on more than No. 4, the Cleveland Browns selection of offensive tackle Greg Robinson. Averaging out as a 2.52 for a "C+," 15,779 voters made their feelings known. That sheer number of voters, many from Dawgs by Nature, further proves that the NFL Draft truly is the Super Bowl for Browns fans.
With two picks in the first the Browns have a good chance of winning the draft!
