The long wait is drawing closer to an end. In one week we will find out the Panthers 2014 schedule, according to Pro Football Talk.
Opponents for the upcoming season were set in stone a while ago, but the release of the schedule will help determining how hard the road will be. Teams ideally like to have a bye week close to the center of the season without too many consecutive road games or cross country trips.
In case you forgot who the Panthers will play, here's a reminder.
Atlanta Falcons (x2)
New Orleans Saints (x2)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (x2)
It's an interesting mix without many "easy outs." Each has an established quarterback ,with the exception of Tampa Bay, Minnesota and Cleveland.
Making early predictions are foolish, but the games against Seattle and Philadelphia seem perfect for prime time. The former represents two of the NFC's best teams from a year ago, the latter has the intrigue of a Chip Kelly offense vs. Panthers defense to push it along.
Get ready folks, the season is almost here.
