Tiquan Underwood is a player that you will notice for sure in Panther blue this fall...on the sideline when his helmet is off that is. He wears a classic high-top fade haircut that you just don't see too much these days. I love it myself because it reminds me of my youth, the late 1980's when the cut was popular among African American men. I think it shows the kid has some moxie, that he isn't a conformist and he is a very confident guy.
Underwood caught 24 passes in 2013 for the Bucs for 440 yards and 4 TDs. It's not a huge line for sure but you have consider the offense he was in and the QB play. Even then though he will need to up his game to make an impact in Carolina. I'm hoping he does just that and sticks around a long time!
Here's a few other pics of Underwood's high top fade. This first is the GQ look:
He looks 3 inches taller in sweats!
In a Bucs uni:
He also goes all the way to show team loyalty. I can't wait to see the Carolina logo shaved into this spot:
I just found this funny that they needed to point out his hair.
So give a warm welcome to Tiquan Underwood's hair!
