When we hear about teams like Broncos bringing in ALOT of big name free agents, us as fans become irate when our team doesn't even look there way. And when it comes to the seasons, the teams usually largely underperform or all together fail. i.e. the Eagles after the lockout was lifted they quickly added a ton of talent and what happened? To many stars/players and no team. A great team is made up of just a few stars and the rest roll players. Then after 1 or 2 stellar seasons the roll players become stars due to the total team success and become hot names in free agency then when they go to other teams to become the star, then they fall. So the lack of bringing in hot names who want #1 WR pay,#1 play who has #2 or 3 WR talent isn't alarming. But the lack of doing anything with positions of need is a concern. But if you ask me, teams like the Broncos are the ones who look desperate throwing around money to the top ?"ranked" players available. they're playing the win now cards when setting themselves up for failure in the future. Not to mention how much Payton Manning sucks during playoff time.
