You know, THIS roster I could definitely work with. It's asking a lot from a lot of our draft picks, and I seriously doubt everything plays out this well. Our offensive line is a big question mark, but at least there is some hope with this draft. Our Secondary is absolutely frightening, but it shows promise. I don't necessarily forsee all of our young guys starting in the secondary, and unlike Nicks, I can't just throw in a hypothetical name and call it good since Nicks at the moment seems to be highly likely he comes to Carolina--especially now since Smith is about to be cut/traded. To me, this is a competitive roster, but it's also very wishful thinking that everyone pans out. Like... no joke we'd have to hit on almost every pick for this to work. The bright side is that this draft class may go down as one of the greatest in awhile. There is SO MUCH talent that it won't be uncommon to see starters picked in the 5th-6th round.

Obscure things I noticed:

The two new projected Tackles on the depth chart played their college ball in the Carolinas. If they pan out, it could be nice to see hometown kids playing well for their hometown team.

If Pierre Desir and Stanley Jean-Baptiste pan out as our #1 and our #2 CBs, I could see a Frenchy nickname forming for them. Suggestions?

That's all for me being an armchair GM. Have at it, gentleman.
