Just ran a mock draft on Fanspeak; I've gotta say if this actually happened I would die out of happiness. As crazy as it seems, Fanspeak has seemed pretty realistic in past mocks so who knows?
Heres the link if you wanna see it http://fanspeak.com/ontheclock/draft.php?d=jbokgw
28 WR MARQISE LEE USC
Star #2; kinda hurt that I passed up on Taylor Lewen, but this is a no brainer.
60 WR JORDAN MATTHEWS VANDERBILT
Same as last year so far, he's the top player on my board so why not? WR goes from weakness to strength in one draft. Cam Newton will sleep well tonight.
92 DE JACKSON JEFFCOAT TEXAS
Hopefully he will be able to replace Hardy; I know Greg isn't coming back, so we have to try for a replacement.
124 CB ROSS COCKRELL DUKE
A lot of DEs and WRs on the board right now, but I went with the best CB. Don't know a ton about him, but I wouldn't mind taking a shot. He has potential.
156 OT SEANTREL HENDERSON MIAMI
BPA and fills a need. Love to give this guy a chance even though I don't think he will pan out, it's well worth the risk this late in the draft. Besides, anything is an improvement over Bell.
188 CB CHRIS DAVIS AUBURN
Surprised the big name guy fell this far especially after a good senior bowl. I'll take him here in a heartbeat and worst case scenario we put him on the field for long field goals!!
202 QB CONNOR SHAW SOUTH CAROLINA
This pick is assuming we let Anderson walk to save money which is not a bad idea. Anderson is great, but we have bigger needs, so Shaw is our proven winning backup. I know he doesn't have the big arm or Drew Brees accuracy but as a backup, I think that toughness is about as important as anything else. I think he will turn into a huge leader in the locker room too, so I'm thrilled he's just a 7th rounder.
If only this were really possible......*wakes up from dream*
