The way to have an offense work is to be dynamic have something in each player that is not in all the others, In this post I will go with us signing nicks and work out how other things happen from there. Based off of what receivers we can get in the draft
our top receivers are ( no order)
smith, nicks, Olson, rookie, ginn
adding a guy like nicks adds someone to the team that takes coverage away, I do get it he has not been himself the last year or 2 but trust me all teams know what he can do.
Kelvin- clearly adds someone who is of value in the redzone but can also become a great pass catcher eating up years, think of how teams will match up with him and nicks and Olson and smith.
Cooks- this is weird because he is seemingly steve smith jr, this allows 2 fast guys on the outside leaving nicks up the middle and Olson where he will be no matter who we get. Or allows smith in the slot and a big body guy and a small speed guy outside.
Robinson- this allows smith and nicks on the outside Allen up the middle in mid yars and Olson at TE. What I like about him is he gives us the boldin type receiver that is a sure catch and has some explosiveness.
Odell- this gives us a fast explosive guy on the outside who is a sure catch guy who is always a TD waiting to happen.
Matthews- this gives us a sure catch big body guy on the outside who defenders will have a hard time stoping. Not as explosive but he will get the job done.
