Valentines day, king of the Hallmark holidays. A magical time of year where we're supposed to run out and find fanciful cards and over-priced flowers to show our affection. In the spirit of the season it seems appropriate to share what we love about the Carolina Panthers, a team we're all passionate about.
I love that the Panthers don't have any truly bad guys on the team. Outside fanbases will point to Steve Smith because they don't understand him, but this organization is full of genuinely nice family men who put their team above themselves. They do amazing work in the community for charity and embody the spirit that makes this franchise great.
I love that "Keep Pounding" is still respected and lived, every year. It never became a one year catch cry. The decision to keep it at the forefront reminds us all of Sam Mills and his impact on the organization, as well as Mark Fields who's often overlooked in the discussion because he managed to beat cancer. It's a reminder of how precious life is and that we should never give up.
I love Luke Kuechly, #mancrush.
I love that we have camaraderie in the team that lets a group of running backs have a dance off in Waffle House, and that's totally okay.
What do you love about the Panthers? It's time for your Valentine to the team.
