This was something we failed to report on from the very tale end of Ron Rivera's pre-game presser last Thursday.
To paraphrase Rivera when asked as he was going out the door: "Yes he (Tolbert) is good to go."
Tolbert is a useful cog in the Panthers offense. In addition to normal FB duties as a lead blocker Tolbert can run between the tackles, pass protect and catch passes out of the backfield. Given the state of the offense any and all help is welcome. Which of those elements we needed the most right is unknown really but I can't imagine OC Mike Shula won't work him back in quickly.
So will having Tolbert back help this the offense or not?
