This was a very special season for the Panthers, perhaps the best regular season in franchise history. Forget record, stats, or numbers. That's not what people remember. This team had the most heart of any team I've ever seen. They always found a way to win, not accepting to go home with a loss. The "rain game" as I'll remember it, against New Orleans is a game that I'll never forget. It embodied what this team was about. Ferocious defense and always finding a way to get it done in the end. I thought that this team was destined to be parading down Charlotte in February, I really did. I don't know if we'll be a better team next season, but I can tell you one thing. They will not be the same. This was a special team that only comes around once every decade, if you're lucky. I look forward to next season, but go into it knowing it will not be as great as the one that just ended, no matter how great our record is, or how deep we go in the playoffs. I'm gonna miss these 2013 Carolina Panthers.
