I Actually do watch football outside of the ACC, but I think there is so much talent in our conference. There is also lots of offense players, but our offense is so behind our defense at this point, we need to catch up by investing in offensive weapons and lineman that protect Cam. Would love to see that you guys think!
Round 1: Kelvin Benjamin - WR FSU - I absolutely love this prospect and am praying that we falls to us. He is Calvin Johnson-esque as far as size/speed/wingspan. However, his route running and drops will be the reason he is not a top-5 pick.
Round 2: Carlos Hyde - RB Ohio State - Our Running game has been pretty poor this offseason. I think that double trouble is at its end, and it is time to reload at the running back position with guys like Hyde and Barner. Hyde is the ground-and-pound type player that can replace J-Stew.
Round 3: James Hurst - OT UNC - Will fall because of his leg injury. However, I think he can play at this level. Has excellent athletic ability and size, but still needs to work on technique.
Round 4: Morgan Breslin - OLB USCal - Once considered a first rounder before injuries. He would fit in great with Luke and TD.
Round 5: Seantrel Henderson - OT Miami - I remember when he came out of HS, I thought for sure he was a future 1st overall pick. He has had an underwhelming college career but you can’t teach 6’7, 345 with lateral quickness.
Round 6: Martavis Bryant- WR Clemson - Another Tall wide receiver for Cam to go to in the end-zone. He was overshadowed by Sammy Watkins this year but whenever I saw him play, we made some really good catches.
Round 7: Michael Campanaro- WR Wake Forest - Would be a great slot receiver. Smart player that can find soft spots in coverage. He is what Cam needs right now.
Round 7: Colt Lyerla - TE Oregon - Considered one of the best TE in this class but has struggled with off-field issues. I think he is worth the risk in the 7th round.
